Monthly Review Of Lottery Draws For June 2010

So here we are, halfway through the year already and focusing on the results for the Lotto and EuroMillions draws in June.  Who would have thought the first six months would fly past so quickly?

If you haven’t been lucky up until now, don’t worry.  We have all the main information for these two draws for last month, so dig out any unchecked tickets to see whether they have produced a win for you or not.

Good luck – and here we go!

The results for the Lotto draw in June

Just as we saw nine draws in total in May, so we had the same number in June as well.  But we saw more jackpot winners in total, with 21 people striking it lucky.  This was five more than the previous month.

There were three draws where we had no winners at all.  We also had a three week run which saw four, seven and five jackpot winners respectively!  In fact the middle one of those draws – taking place on the 23rd - had the smallest jackpot share of the month, as each of those seven tickets was worth £225,732.  That’s the smallest share we have seen in quite some time.

The biggest share was won by two tickets on the 9th of the month.  This amounted to £3,687,356.  That’s quite a nice share for those lucky ticket holders.

The difference between the lowest and highest bonus ball wins was pronounced as well.  Winning on the 23rd would have got you just £13,891 – thirty five winners got those numbers right on that date.  But a win on the 12th would have resulted in bagging a huge £160,502.  Just nine people won the five plus bonus prize on that date.

Perhaps unusually single digit numbers only appeared in six out of the nine main draw numbers.  Only four draws had numbers in the forties appearing in the main six, with three of those occasions featuring the number 47.

EuroMillions

If you didn’t get lucky on the main Lotto draw perhaps things were better on the EuroMillions draw instead?

June actually turned out to be a fairly quiet month on the EuroMillions front.  There were four draws and the first two draws each had one winner.  The second of these two draws had a UK winner too, so congratulations if you know it was you!

Since there was no outright winner for week three we had a rollover to finish the month on.  This resulted in a jackpot of £23,090,988 which was won by one lucky person.  So we shall start the month of July with a single amount on offer for the jackpot.

The next best prize is available for the main numbers plus just one of the lucky star numbers.  If you managed this on the 25th of the month you would have struck it lucky with £267,525.  And indeed two UK winners did manage a win on this date, so well done to them.

In conclusion

If you didn’t get lucky during June, perhaps July will be your lucky month?  We’ll wish you good luck for then!
