So here we are again, ready to check out the results for the main Lotto and EuroMillions draws for the month of July. Were you lucky during that month, or have you still to check your tickets?
If you have, grab them now and get ready to see whether you have the right numbers to claim a prize. You never know, July could have been your lucky month!
Let’s see what happened during that time.
The results for the Lotto draw in July
We had a total of nine draws to look at during July, but we had just eleven jackpot winners overall. And an incredible five out of the nine draws saw no jackpot winners at all.
In the end, because there were so few winners the smallest jackpot prize amounted to £1,519,859 on the 3rd, which was won by five tickets. The 17th saw the biggest prize winner – just one person – win £7,706,631.
There was a pronounced difference between the lowest and highest bonus ball wins too. The lowest was on the last draw of the month when seventeen people won £90,775 each. In contrast the highest was on the 10th when just three tickets each picked up £478,052.
All the bonus ball numbers for the month were double digit ones, while at least one number in the forties appeared in all but one of the main draws. In fact higher numbers seemed to be the flavour of the month overall, which could account for the fact that we saw fewer jackpot winners in total.
EuroMillions
Don’t worry if July wasn’t your lucky month when it came to the Lotto draw. If you took part in the EuroMillions draw perhaps you were luckier there instead?
The first two draws didn’t see any jackpot winners, while the third one had just one lucky winner, who netted £35,767,540. The following draw didn’t bag a jackpot winner either, but the last draw of the month managed to snag a single winner who walked away with £23,414,853. This means that the first draw in August will begin with a single amount on offer to win as the jackpot.
There were some significant winners in the UK over the month though, as six winners managed to snag significant six figure amounts for getting five main balls plus one Lucky Star. Congratulations if you happen to have been one of them!
Interestingly enough the two Lucky Stars numbers were exactly the same on two out of the five draws last month. These were 3 and 9. The other three draws all saw the number 8 pop out as one of the Lucky Stars too.
In conclusion
As you can see it was an interesting month on both main lottery draws. The EuroMillions saw one very big winner and lots of people won nice six figure amounts for grabbing five main numbers and the bonus ball in the main Lotto draw.
And if you were lucky enough to win a slice of the jackpot in either case, congratulations!
